Week 19 Review: Dreaming Death

From Goodreads:
Sweet dreams aren't made of this

Ever since she was a child, Stacey Hanson has had strange dreams—and sometimes they come true. Her skills and experience led her straight to the FBI's Krewe of Hunters. Now a serial killer is stalking Washington, DC, and people are scared. And it will be Stacey's first case.

Special Agent Keenan Wallace isn't exactly thrilled to be teamed up with a rookie, but they're going to have to get past their mutual friction if they want to stop a brutal killer. The victims are all vulnerable women, though the clues lead to suspects from DC's powerful elite. Stacey can't escape her nightly visions, but in trying to prevent them from occurring in real life, she might come face-to-face with a nightmare.

My Review:
I had a really great time with this book! This series has been going on for a long time now, it's now in the thirties, which is pretty wild, and given that there's 3 full length books published each year, and has for a while, that's a lot of books. But it's still going strong!

Stacey's ability to dream was really interesting. We've had some different varieties of supernatural ghostly abilities pop up before, and this was another great addition to the list. I loved how helpful it was with this case!

This case was interesting, D.C. is the center of the politics of the country, and it is in the area where the Krewe have their base, so that was helpful. And then there's the Jack the Ripper copy cat elements of the case which made for more gruesome crime scenes. Loved how all that turned out!

And the romance. Stacey is a rookie, and Wallace didn't want to be partnered with her, he was pretty gruff. But of course over the course of this investigation they fell in love. I enjoyed who they were and their relationship, and I had a great time reading about them!

This was another great read, and I can't wait to continue!
