Week 35 Review: Unseelie

From Goodreads:
The start of a swoony, high-energy duology that Emily Lloyd-Jones, author of The Bone Houses, calls "reminiscent of classic fairytales yet brimming with a charm all its own."

"A world of glimmering fae that sparkles with mystery, adventure, and enchantment." —Andrew Joseph White, New York Times bestselling author of Hell Followed with Us

Iselia "Seelie" Graygrove looks just like her twin, Isolde…but as an autistic changeling left in the human world by the fae as an infant, she has always known she is different. Seelie's unpredictable magic makes it hard for her to fit in—and draws her and Isolde into the hunt for a fabled treasure. In a heist gone wrong, the sisters make some unexpected allies and find themselves unraveling a mystery that has its roots in the history of humans and fae alike.

Both sisters soon discover that the secrets of the faeries may be more valuable than any pile of gold and jewels. But can Seelie harness her magic in time to protect her sister and herself?

My Review:
I had such a great time reading this book! I loved the world, and the fact that this has autism rep, even if it's not named as such, was really great! The fact that this is a fantasy world, with a fae world attached, was so interesting to read!

Seelie and her sister Isolde are very close, Seelie is a changeling, a fae child left in exchange for the human child, Isolde. That their mother was brave, and ended up choosing both of them to raise, well, great for their family, but there's a lot of distrust for changelings in the human realm.

We did get a bit of the history of the worlds, and of the treasure that they're after. With the voice in Seelie's head, after that projection guy connected to the map disappeared, I had a bad feeling about that. It was such an entertaining storyline, and I can't wait to follow long with it more!

With that ending, yeah, I need to know how things are going to go from there! That was a pretty evil cliff-hanger, they're in such a bad position, and I really need to know how things are going to get better from here!

Loved reading this book, and I can't wait for the sequel!
