Week 45 Review: The Fox Inheritance

From Goodreads:
Once there were three. Three friends who loved each other—Jenna, Locke, and Kara. And after a terrible accident destroyed their bodies, their three minds were kept alive, spinning in a digital netherworld. Even in that disembodied nightmare, they were still together. At least at first. When Jenna disappeared, Locke and Kara had to go on without her. Decades passed, and then centuries.

Two-hundred-and-sixty years later, they have been released at last. Given new, perfect bodies, Locke and Kara awaken to a world they know nothing about, where everyone they once knew and loved is long dead.

Everyone except Jenna Fox.

My Review:
Oh, this was a really fantastic book! And such a great sequel! I enjoyed reading more about this world, but one that's past the first one, but still has Jenna Fox. That was just fantastic, and I enjoyed reading it so much!

This was Locke's book. And from the way that this book ended, the next one is going to be his, too. Because it's his story of getting a new body, escaping, and finding his way to Jenna, and all the issues there! So fantastic!

This book was pretty thought-provoking. After The Adoration of Jenna Fox, we thought that Locke and Kara were gone. But they weren't. And it meant that they spend all that time in as computers, before finally getting new bodies. And that's a horrible situation, and really makes you think!

I found the ending to be just a little bit sad, that the whole situation had broken Kara, that she was a bad guy in this book. That sucked, and it was really horrible for the characters. And there's still more to come, but hopefully the conflict won't hit so close to home for Locke!

This was a really great book, I enjoyed it a lot!
