Week 46 Review: Crimson Frost

From Goodreads:
For a moment, a face flashed before my eyes—the most hideous face I'd ever seen. No matter how hard I tried to forget what had happened, I saw him everywhere I went. It was Loki—the evil god that I’d helped set free against my will.

I should have known that my first official date with Logan Quinn was destined to end in disaster. If we'd gotten into a swordfight, or been ambushed by Reapers, I'd have been more prepared. But getting arrested mid-sip at the local coffee hangout? I didn't see that one coming.

I've been accused of purposely helping the Reapers free Loki from his prison—and the person leading the charge against me is Linus Quinn, Logan’s dad. The worst part is that pretty much everyone at Mythos Academy thinks I'm guilty. If I'm going to get out of this mess alive, I'll have to do it myself…

My Review:
I loved this book, I mean, I had to, I read it in about 2 1/2 hours, in 1 sitting, except for the first few pages (because I opened up the file during class, bad me) and I read it the day that I was approved for it. Yeah, it was that freaking good of a book! The injustices that Gwen suffers, well, I kept shaking in indignation, urgh, what couldn't they see what a great person Gwen was? Apparently not, and that makes them either very, very stupid, or very, very evil! Anyways.

So Gwen is pretty traumatized by the whole "Loki getting situation." So it doesn't help that she's arrested for helping him voluntarily, without an element of blackmail. Because it's obvious that the people in charge, are very stupid, and yeah. That whole situation happens!

The pages just flew by, as I wondered what would happen next, and yeah, there was a lot going on! Like the tricks that she who is evil was doing to make it look like she was the innocent, and not the guilty! Well, she didn't win in the end!

Oh, that ending! I feel bad for the Quinn's, it seems like they can't get a break! That was very hard, and it's probably going to have a lot of consequences! But at least that one bad guy is known and identified, so they won't follow her suggestions anymore!

Such a great, excellent book, and now I just really want Midnight Frost!
