Week 17 Review: Missing

From Goodreads:
From the #1 New York Times bestselling author Kelley Armstrong comes a new romantic thriller that will leave fans trembling for more.

The only thing Winter Crane likes about Reeve's End is that soon she'll leave it. Like her best friend did. Like her sister did. Like most of the teens born in town have done. There's nothing for them there but abandoned mines and empty futures. They're better off taking a chance elsewhere.

The only thing Winter will miss is the woods. Her only refuge. At least it was. Until the day she found Lennon left for dead, bleeding in a tree.

But now Lennon is gone too. And he has Winter questioning what she once thought was true. What if nobody left at all? What if they're all missing?

My Review:
I loved reading this book! It wasn't what I expected, and it was absolutely amazing! I mean, all of Kelley Armstrong's books are amazing, but if I'd read it without knowing who the author was, well, I still would've loved it!

Winter was a fascinating character! She's had it rough, losing her mom to cancer, and her dad stumbled from one job to another, downhill, until they were in Reeve's End, and he hurts her, so she most lives and survives in the forest. She was tough, and she was smart, and she was awesome!

When I imagined what I thought would happen in this book, I thought that the conspiracy was much larger than it turned out to be. Like, most of the world or something was in on it, or that Reeve's End and it's people and former people were experiments or something. Loved how it turned out to be!

At first, I kinda thought that the romance might be between WInter and Lennon. But after the first few chapters, he's, well, missing. And then there was big brother Jude, and yeah, they had a conflicting, amazing relationship! Loved reading about them!

This book was so fantastic, another amazing YA contemporary mystery, and I can't wait for more Kelley Armstrong books!
