My first review of Unbreakable, Reborn
My Review:
It was a lot of fun to read these books again! Chase is a pretty interesting dude and it was interesting to see his pretty big defining moment before be met Della. And Della, she's a pretty awesome narrator, different from Kylie, and just as interesting to read about!
Pretty much all of Unbreakable takes place over the course of a few hours, plus the news articles about a day later. So Chase goes through some pretty intense things pretty much back to back, from the blooming relationship with his sister's best friend, the crash, to becoming a vampire. The high of highs to the low of lows (not that becoming a vampire is necessarily a low, but the circumstances surrounding his experience certainly is!)
Honestly, I kinda forgot about the whole Reborn thing. I did kinda remember about her cousin, and yeah, which is too bad, because we hardly got to know him. I did forget that Burnett was one, as well. Which just shows the awesomeness of rereading!
We also had Della investigating a murder with her first ghost, which is kinda hilarious given all the fear she had of Kylie's ability. Though I wonder why it kicked in before she became Reborn? Plus there was all the relationship/feelings drama with Della, Chase and Steve! Must have more!
Yeah, this was a great kick off to this spin off series, and I can't wait to reread more!
