So this week I want to read My Calamity Jane, The Persuasion, and Shadows & Surrender.
JANE (a genuine hero-eene)
Calamity’s her name, and garou hunting’s her game—when she’s not starring in Wild Bill’s Traveling Show, that is. She reckons that if a girl wants to be a legend, she should just go ahead and be one.
FRANK (*wolf whistle*)
Frank “the Pistol Prince” Butler is the Wild West’s #1 bachelor. He’s also the best sharpshooter on
both sides of the Mississippi, but he’s about to meet his match. . . .
ANNIE (get your gun!)
Annie Oakley (yep, that Annie) is lookin’ for a job, not a romance, but she can’t deny there’s something about Frank she likes. Really likes. Still, she’s pretty sure that anything he can do,
she can do better.
A HAIRY SITUATION
After a garou hunt goes south and Jane finds a suspicious-like bite on her arm, she turns tail for Deadwood, where there’s been talk of a garou cure. But things ain’t always what they seem—meaning the gang better hightail it after her before they’re a day late and a Jane short.
When Eve Duncan's daughter, Jane MacGuire, becomes a madman's target, Jane must team up with longtime love interest Seth Caleb in this suspense novel from the #1 bestselling author of Smokescreen.
Forensic sculptor Eve Duncan and ex-Navy Seal Joe Quinn are about to give Seth Caleb their trust for the most important duty of his life: keeping their daughter, Jane MacGuire, safe at any cost. Because Jane's talent as an artist has brought her to the attention of a madman.
Seth, Jane's longtime ally and fierce protector, is determined to keep her out of danger, but that becomes nearly impossible when Jane is forced to take matters into her own hands and confronts the man who wants her for himself...and wants Seth Caleb dead.
As Jane and Seth chase down their blood-thirsty adversary, they finally commit to one another -- in the culmination of the love story that fans have been waiting for. As the two come face-to-face with danger, one thing is made clear: it will take both of them working together to confront and defeat this evil.
Ash wanted a career filled with challenging mysteries.
She should have specified she didn't mean her family.
When a murder scene reveals a connection to Ash's father who abandoned her when she was thirteen, she's stunned. He may be the key to stopping Chariot from achieving immortality.
The catch? He could be hiding anywhere in the world.
To make matters worse, Levi, Ash's romantic entanglement and brand-new boss, has his first official case for her: helping his ex-girlfriend, a.k.a. Ash's childhood tormentor.
No one ever said adulting was easy.
As secrets multiply and alliances get deadlier, Ash's investigation takes her back into Hedon and into her own past. Cracking this case could reunite her family... or cost her everyone she holds dear.
Actual ghosts have nothing on the ghosts of her past.
It always amazes me how much you post each week. Very impressive.
ReplyDeleteThanks! And thanks for stopping by! Happy reading!
DeleteThree wonderful books on your list this week.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a great reading week
Yeah, I'm really excited for these books! Thanks for stopping by! Happy reading!
DeleteWow 34 posts! For me it is always a struggle to post more because it eats into my reading time. I find it a difficult balance sometimes just to get 7 posts formatted and scheduled each week (I have 2 other reviewers so I'm not writing all the posts but I still edit and format them). See what I've been reading at Girl Who Reads
ReplyDeleteYeah, most of these posts are because I was reading. Especially since reading 1 book at point point this week lead to 3 posts-2 reading challenge updates, and the review.
DeletePlus I find Blogger easy to use. Well, Legacy Blogger. I tried the new version and I found one positive (being able to select multiple labels on the All Posts page) and so many negatives. Excuse my little rant!
Thanks for stopping by! Happy reading!
