Week 35 Review: The Mistake

From Goodreads:
He's a player in more ways than one…

College junior John Logan can get any girl he wants. For this hockey star, life is a parade of parties and hook-ups, but behind his killer grins and easygoing charm, he hides growing despair about the dead-end road he'll be forced to walk after graduation. A sexy encounter with freshman Grace Ivers is just the distraction he needs, but when a thoughtless mistake pushes her away, Logan plans to spend his final year proving to her that he's worth a second chance.

Now he's going to need to up his game…

After a less than stellar freshman year, Grace is back at Briar University, older, wiser, and so over the arrogant hockey player she nearly handed her V-card to. She's not a charity case, and she's not the quiet butterfly she was when they first hooked up. If Logan expects her to roll over and beg like all his other puck bunnies, he can think again. He wants her back? He'll have to work for it. This time around, she'll be the one in the driver's seat…and she plans on driving him wild.

My Review:
This was such a fantastic read! I loved the first one, and I've been meaning to read this one for a while, and I finally had a chance, and I devoured it! I loved these two and the story of their relationship, it was such a great read!

The first part of this book was the set up, of introducing these characters, and having the interactions in her freshman year, that causes her to not be a fan of John Logan. And from there, we got the story of him making it up to her, of them working to become a viable couple. I had such a great time reading it!

The list of tasks that he has to fulfil to get back in her good graces, oh man, that was hilarious. Just what the tasks were-like an endorsement from a celebrity, to the picture on a red lounge chair, just awesome. And I'm glad that he did it regardless of the ribbing he got from his team.

While this book has light with their romance, there was also dark, his dad is an alcoholic, and he's disabled, and Logan has a deal with his brother-his brother runs the shop now while Logan's at collage, and then they switch when he's done. But that means that Logan can't play pro hockey. It's just a sticky situation. Loved how it was resolved!

Loved reading this book, and I can't wait to continue the series!
