Week 36 Review: Finding Felicity

Caroline Sands has never been particularly good at making friends. And her parents' divorce and the move to Arizona three years ago didn't help. My Review:
I really enjoyed reading this book! I was a little apprehensive, because it hit a bit close to home, given that I'm not good at making friends either, and the social anxiety was real! And to have college the place where that's going to change, on top of everything else, was a little terrifying! Caroline was pretty brave!

Caroline is obsessed with the show Felicity. I loved how she used inspiration from the show for her actions, for living her daily life. But things aren't quite that easy to enact in real life. I loved how everything played out, how she stood up for herself!

Though the idea of going to the same small collage as her high school crush is a little over the top. They had minimal to nonexistent interactions, and so the fact that she fantasizes of starting a romantic relationship with him, now that they're at the same college, wasn't the best of plans! And there were hints throughout, that he wasn't who she thought he was. 

I really enjoyed the friend group that Caroline finds! That they built her up, that she did find these friends, was really heartwarming! That things end on a really great note for her future, and that she's learned and grown from the experiences that she had! Really enjoyed that! 

This was a really great read, and I can't wait to read more by Stacey Kade!
