Week 44 Review: ExtraOrdinary

From Goodreads:
Written by #1 New York Times bestselling author V.E. Schwab, Extraordinary expands deeper into the world of Schwab's critically acclaimed novels Vicious and Vengeful.

Torn from the world of 'Vicious', where death is not the end, only the beginning of extraordinary powers... Three new "EO"s must grapple with their new abilities... and with those who would hunt them down! Featuring unseen character design galleries from Andrea Olimpieri and story commentary from V.E. Schwab!

My Review:
I loved reading this graphic novel! I loved being in this world again, and following this new character, Charlotte, though she's not the only new EO that we meet. I really enjoyed her story of how she became an EO, and of everything that happened after that!

Charlotte had a pretty interesting ability-to look in a reflection, and see how a person is going to die. And when she looks in the mirror, she sees Eli. So that was pretty interesting to watch play out! And I really enjoyed getting to know the gang that she meets' powers, as well!

This does take place between Vicious and Vengeful, where Eli is in prison, and is helping the government hunt EO's while there. And Charlotte is one that he targets. And so we did get a lot of the backstory of Eli and Victor again, but in illustrated, and simplified.

Really enjoyed how everything played out, and I'm excited to see where this series goes from here, if we'll get more graphic novels in this world, as well as more prose novels, though I'm pretty sure that it's pretty certain that we'll get more books. I hope to see more of Charlotte and the gang!

This was a fantastic read, and I can't wait for more from the Villians world!
