Books I Bought in 2022 Stats

So the books I bought in 2022 for myself (I'm not counting gifts) that I paid for this year, I've continued with the spreadsheet, so I know exactly how many I bought, and from where. 

Books Bought New: 211 from Store 1, 61 from Store 2, 2 from Store 4, 17 from Store 5, 10 from Store 8, 6 from Store 14, for a total of 307, which is up 114 from 2021, and up 10 from 2020. Of those, I have read 241, and haven't read 68, though 2 of them are pre-orders that come out in 2023. 

Books Bought Second Hand: 76 from Site 1, 27 from Store 6, 34 from Store 7, 13 from Store 9, 7 from Store 11, 18 from Store 12, 4 from Store 15, so for a total of 179, which is down 55 from 2021, and down 73 from 2020. Of those, I have read 112, and haven't read 67.

So total, I bought 486 books which is up 57 from 2021, and down 63 from 2020, with 353 read which is up 93 from 2021, and up 41 from 2020, and 135 unread which is down 34 from 2021, and down 101 from 2019. This year, I got a paid account with one of the stores that I buy new books from, so I bought more there. I also had less trips to used book stores, which is why that number is down. I don't know how I feel about having bought more books overall this year, but I am glad that the numbers are in favour of having read the book, and less for those that I haven't. It'll be interesting to see how the numbers might change next year, because I did get the paid account in August, so I'll have more time with it in 2023, and there's a good chance that I'll renew it, meaning I'll have it for the full year. We'll see what next years stats look like!
