My Review:
I loved reading this book! I love this series so much, and I loved watching this book as it was being released as as serial, and now that it's been published, it was great to read it all together, since it started late last year. It was such a great story!
There are so many things that I love about this book. The reveal about Costco lady, that was fantastic! That the votes for the candidates that we, the BDH, cast, were used in the story, that we were The Dominion, that was so much fun! And oh, the little note at the beginning of each chapter, which was from when it was a weekly serial, with a big, complicated cast, and the note would tell us what had just happened. Absolutely loved these elements, on top of everything else!
The main bulk of this story was the selection of the spouse. And oh, the politics and goings on there was complicated and amazing! There were a lot of hidden plots, agendas, and a lot of the candidates had a particular thing that made them stand out-sometimes not in a good way. Loved how it all went down! I was so glad for the ending, it was just so perfect!
That ending? Ilona Andrews deliberately ended the serial before the final showdown, the rescue attempt of Wilmos that was the reason why they held the interstellar Bachelor. What we learned there, what happened, that was intense, and I'm so excited to see where things go from here! The implications and the fallout is just consuming my thoughts!
Loved reading this book, and oh, I can't wait for the next book!
