Now Bee and Nolan are sneaking off for quickies on set, keeping their new relationship a secret from the Hope Channel's execs. Things only get trickier when the reporter who torpedoed Nolan's singing career comes snooping around--and takes an instant interest in mysterious newcomer Bee.
And if Bee and Nolan can't keep their off-camera romance behind the scenes, then this merry little meet cute might end up on the cutting room floor.
My Review:
This was such a fun book to read! I mean, I've read books by Julie Murphy before, and they were fun, but I don't think I've read anything by Sierra Simone, but I'm pretty sure that she's known for erotica. So I wasn't sure how they were going to mix, but the title and synopsis gave me hope, and the book delivered!
The whole set up with this book, that this guy is running an erotic films business, but is also trying to get into the mainstream market with a holiday rom-com, and ends up casting one of the adult film actors for this movie...of course shenanigans were going to ensue!
That she also has an account that she posts to, and it turns out that the co-star (who is a former big name singer) is subscribed to her? Yeah, that was an really fun situation. That she's plus sized, made it all the better to get that body positivity representation!
The romance was so fantastic to read about. That they have to keep it secret because of the movie executives, well, that just added some stakes and some tension. Of course things do go wrong, but I enjoyed seeing them work it out!
I had a great time reading this book, and I'll read more by this pair if they write more books together in the future!
