This was a very close month, that I only read one of these books right at the end of the month, but I made it, and read some really great books, which was good, because I was also dealing with losing Dobby. Wondering how this coming month is going to go, since it is an ARC reading month. We'll see how I do!

A 6, which gets me to Hannibal Lector. I'm going with A Fire in the Flesh by Jennifer L. Armentrout! Flesh is a part of bodies, so I'm using it! And a perfect book to end out the month!

I've been going back and forth between 79% and 80% NetGalley review rating. So another ARC reading month is good, so I can get that number back up! 

The rules for this are the only non-ARC's that I'll be reading in November are ones that are earlier books in series for books I have ARC's of, though again, there's my Book Battle TBR, but I'm trying my best to have as many ARC's as I can! 

My goal as always for these months, is 30 ARC's. So many books to read, so little time! Must devour them!

OK, so I got 45 posts in 7 days, and it was an OK week, I'm getting back into the swing of things again, but reviews are still suffering. But I'll catch up, even if it takes years again, though I hope to catch up again this year. What about you guys? Happy reading!

So this week I want to read A Fire in the Flesh!

Wheel of TBR #179, October 29th

I saw Codie's Book Corner doing the Wheel of TBR, and I thought that sounded like a great way to pick what to read from your TBR. So thanks to her! I'll only do 3 spins, because I'm doing this every week, and so it won't make up my total TBR of the week, but it'll be a start!

Rules:

1. For each week of the month, I'll do 3 spins each week to read each week though I do have the rest of the month to read them. Once a prompt is used, I'll randomly choose one from the list, keeping track of how often a colour comes up. If colour comes up 3 or more times in month, I'll do another spin once it comes up 3 times.

2. If I don't read a book that week or at least start it before the end of the month, then for my next week of spins, I have to add a punishment for each book unread. I'll roll for each unread book, and have to apply each and every punishment chosen to the week.

3. Each month I'll get a prompt from my Binge Read Wheel (either specifically picking the prompt, or spinning the wheel) and I have to read at least 9 books, though I can read more!

Shelly Laurenston is a female author, and I'm going with it! Depending on what I'm reading, and what I could roll, it's either going to be Bear Meets Girl or Wolf With Benefits. Because Wolf With Benefits has a purple cover.

My Review:

I had a really fantastic time reading these books again! It's been a while, and the movie for A Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes comes out soon, so I had to reread all the books, and watch all the movies! This world is so dark, but the story is so good!

And I'd forgotten a lot. Like just how much shaper Katniss is, like the time she kissed Peeta's bruise, because we're in her thoughts. I'd also forgotten things like the fact that Peeta lost his lower leg in their first game. Yeah for rereading!

The idea that the Capital, at least the average citizen the the Capital, doesn't realize just how horrible the Hungers Games are, that it's just entertainment for them? That they waste food, they waste their lives on frivolities like cosmetic surgeries, it's mind boggling. They're just so naive, and sheltered from the harshness of the lives of the people who live in the districts. 

Honestly, Katniss is the one that more people are going to be like, then Peeta. He's a gem, he's a good person, and she's good too, but it's harder for her, she's focused on those that she cares about, and almost puts blinders on. They have a heck of a story, and I just love reading it! 

These were just so great, and I can't wait to watch the movies again, and consume the rest of the media in this series!
