Week 43 Review: Two for the Dough

From Goodreads:
Bounty hunter Stephanie Plum is packing a whole lot of attitude -- not to mention stun guns, defense sprays, and a .38 Smith & Wesson. She's on the trail of Kenny Mancuso, from working-class Trenton, New Jersey, who has just shot his best friend. Fresh out of the army and suspiciously wealthy, Mancuso's also distantly related to Joe Morelli, a vice cop with questionable ethics, a libido in permanent overdrive, and a habit of horning in on Stephanie's investigations. Aided by her tough bounty-hunting pal, Ranger, and her funeral-hopping Grandma Mazur, Stephanie's soon staggering knee-deep in corpses, trying to shake Morelli...and stirring up a very nasty enemy.

My first review of Two for the Dough

My Review:
I had such a blast reading this book again! I really enjoy this series, and it was great to go back to the beginning, since it has been a while since I first read it, so I didn't remember most of what had happened in this book, so I was wanting to go on this adventure again!

Stephanie doesn't know what she's doing, she was lucky with Morelli, but she is learning. Reaper definitely is a help, and Grandma Mazur is there, though maybe not as helpful. That this case features someone related to Morelli, meant that he was a bit of a thorn in her side as she tried to bring Mancuso.

This cast of characters, and the hilarity of how they dealt with these investigations, I can't get enough! I'm glad that it's a long running series, and still going strong, so we have plenty of time to soak up the wacky situations that they got into!

Always, these bounties, figuring out a way to bring them in, as well as dealing with the various crimes that sometimes are related, combined with the romances, are just great! I don't favour one guy over the other, but it's too bad that she's going to have to chose!

Loved reading this book and I can't wait to continue on!
