My Review:
Oh, this was such a fantastic read! I've loved this series since the beginning, and while I'm sad to say goodbye to these characters, I did have such a good time reading their adventures as they were dealing with these mysteries!
I am glad that I reread the series, because it's been a while since I first read the first two books, and those are pretty important going into this one, being back with all these characters again! Which was good for us readers, bad for the characters that they had to deal with this.
That this book had a mix of new main characters and old main characters having to deal with this whole situation was really great! I'm pretty sure that the 3rd book is going to bring back the whole OG crew, so it was great to shake things up.
Initially, this wasn't as bad as what happened in the first book, it was framed as a game, and it wasn't until the truth about how dangerous it was came out that a sense of urgency to figure out what was going on. It was a compelling read that had me on the edge of my seat to see how it was going to be solved!
Loved reading this book and I can't wait to read more by Karen M. McManus!
