Week 50 Review: Saga, Volume 10

From Goodreads:
At long last, Hazel and her star-crossed family are finally back, and they've made some new...friends? This collection features the latest six chapters of the most epic adventure in comics, including the series' double-sized first issue back from hiatus.

My Review:
This was a really fantastic read! It's the first volume after the big change, as well as the long hiatus. There was another time jump, and things were a little unsettled as we got used to where these characters were now-those that had survived.

Hazel and Squire are growing up, they're still kids, but they've both been through a lot. Alena is just trying to do her best as a single parent, on top of the fact that they're still being hunted, albeit slowly, not to mention the war still going on.

One nice thing about these issues was the music. Something that they were passionate about, and not something that's really harmful. And it helped deal with the fact what the Will and Gwendolyn where doing with Marko's remains, that was hard.

Oh, but that ending? That hurt! That was their home, that was their safety net, and it was a part of the series almost since the beginning! It's not as devastating of a story arc as issue 54, but it's still an emotional one-and it brought up that feeling of grief for them all again.

Thoroughly enjoyed reading this volume and I can't wait for the next!
