Week 50 Review: Howl for the Gargoyle

From Goodreads:
Hannah never wanted to be a werewolf. After over thirty years as a human, she finds her new life on the other side of the species line too full of sudden changes. Especially when those changes risk her band's chance at a world tour. Desperate for a way to slake the cravings and soothe the restless anger that arrives every month like clockwork, Hannah takes the advice of a friend and books a night with the Monster Smash Agency.

In spite of being made of stone, Rafe is losing his touch. After years of rough work, he's starting to feel the grind. Sturdy and nearly indestructible, gargoyles can take a lot, but Rafe is pretty sure he can't take losing any more of his clients. Not if he wants to keep his job with MSA. Hannah and Rafe's partnership ought to be practical, but their chemistry carves a new path. This werewolf is unlike any client Rafe has worked with yet, and he's determined to make her howl his name.

My Review:
I had such a fantastic time reading this book! I loved the first, and I love her writing, and I was looking forward to this book. It didn't disappoint, I loved these two and their romance, as they dealt with everything going on in their lives!

The fact that Hannah was made into a werewolf without her consent is pretty awful. It's brought about changes in her life that she's not coping well with, and it's made it difficult for her to be a part of her band, which is what she really wants to do.

Rafe is a gargoyle, which means, working for the MSA, that he gets the clients who are more dangerous, who aren't gentle, who, while they don't cause damage, they do cause pain. Then comes along Hannah who doesn't want to be that way, and gives him a different experience, one that her understandably wants to continue.

I loved watching them fall in love, while the case of the guy who assault and turned her, gets more intense, as her band and record label put pressure on something to happen, as Rafe figures out that he wants something different, and discovers what it is and how he's going to do it. Yeah, there was a lot going on besides the smut!

Loved this book and I can't wait to read more by Kathryn Moon!
