Week 6 Reviews: Winter's Passage, The Iron Daughter

From Goodreads:
Meghan Chase used to be an ordinary girl...until she discovered that she is really a faery princess. After escaping from the clutches of the deadly Iron fey, Meghan must follow through on her promise to return to the equally dangerous Winter Court with her forbidden love, Prince Ash. But first, Meghan has one request: that they visit Puck--Meghan's best friend and servant of her father, King Oberon--who was gravely injured defending Meghan from the Iron Fey.

Yet Meghan and Ash's detour does not go unnoticed. They have caught the attention of an ancient, powerful hunter--a foe that even Ash may not be able to defeat....

From Goodreads:
Half Summer faery princess, half human, Meghan has never fit in anywhere. Deserted by the Winter prince she thought loved her, she is prisoner to the Winter faery queen. As war looms between Summer and Winter, Meghan knows that the real danger comes from the Iron fey—ironbound faeries that only she and her absent prince have seen. But no one believes her.

Worse, Meghan's own fey powers have been cut off. She's stuck in Faery with only her wits for help. Trusting anyone would be foolish. Trusting a seeming traitor could be deadly. But even as she grows a backbone of iron, Meghan can't help but hear the whispers of longing in her all-too-human heart.

My Review:
Loved reading these stories again! I love this world so much, I adore the concept of the Iron Fey, and it was great to spend this time in the world again! The adventure that Meagan and Ash have, on their way to the Winter Court, and then her time there! It was so great!

I did forgot basically everything that happened in these stories, it's been so long since I first read them, that it was basically like reading them for the first time! I really enjoyed going on these adventures again, they were really great reads!

Meagan goes through a lot in these stories, though The Iron Daughter is a bit slower then The Iron King. She's a captive of the Winter Queen, and given that she's the Summer King's bastard child, it's not a great place for her to be in. Plus she's in love with Ash, the Winter Prince, and he's not even there. So it was a really great story to reread! I really enjoyed it!

I'm really glad that I'm continuing my reread of this word. I really want to read the Iron Raven, to get Puck's story, after seeing in my previous reviews of this series of how much I wanted Puck's story, and now we have it! Yeah!

I loved reading these so much, and I can't wait to continue with this series!
