Book Blogger Hop #177, February 26th

The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer from Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. With Jennifer's permission, Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer relaunched the meme on February 15, 2013. Check out the hop here

Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end on Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book related question. The hop's purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to your own blog.

The Question of the week is: Do you use Goodreads to keep track of your books? (submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver's Reviews)

Yeah, unfortunately. I don't like it much now, for a few reasons, but I still use it because a) it has so much of my data since I've been using it since 2011, b) inertia and c) I'm too lazy to find other options. But I do use it. What about you guys? Happy reading!

  1. I do use Goodreads, but am trying to build it back up after I wiped all of my bookshelves. Such a rash decision that I've been regretting ever since lol! But great resource to keep track of everything!

    1. Oh man! Yeah, Goodreads does a pretty great job of keeping track of everything. I just an frustrated by some things, from things like newsletter subscription freebies to their best books of the year books. Thanks for stopping by! Happy reading!

  2. I don't find Goodreads as effective as many others do, but I like some things about it. I mostly use it for tracking books I've read. I hope you have a great week!

    1. Yeah, it does have some positives, which is why I've used it for so long. Thanks! And thanks for stopping by! Happy reading!

  3. I love goodreads, I've tried storygraph but it just doesn't feel as user friendly. Being able to find reviews from years ago, being able to "tag" books by certain shelves etc

    1. Ah. I wish I could use another site, but like I said, I have so much data with Goodreads that it'd be hard to switch over. But too bad that you don't like Storygraph. Thanks for stopping by! Happy reading!

I love comments, so comment away! I'll comment back if you leave a post-specific link for me to visit! If you leave that link, I'll always comment back, even if it's like, a month late!

This is an award free blog! Thanks for thinking of me but I just don't have the time to pass it along!
